Something to think about.

From a CCFA webcast on Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis:

Dr. Loftus:

…And then, I think we always worry in the back of our minds, “Are we missing something really stupid and obvious?” You look back over 50 years, and these diseases were much, much less common back then. They are much more common now. It’s interesting watching over different parts of the world where they never saw IBD, and now they are starting to see it. The general theme is that as a country becomes more industrialized and more like a Western country, they start seeing more IBD. So is it something else entirely? Is there an environmental trigger that we are missing? And I don’t know. Is that in the food? Is that in the water supply? Is it a toxin? I don’t know. But I always worry about that in the back of my mind.

crickets…

Haven’t posted much here in a while and i know there are a few that read this… so for that, i apologize with this post which is really a post to say sorry for not posting.

So I’ll talk about a couple of movies now…

Balls of Fury was a terrible movie by the way.  Really, really bad.  It deserves the 23% rottentomatoes.com gave it.  Maybe 23% is optimistic.

Lars and the Real Girl, however, was excellent.  Although mildly depressing, it still has heart and deserves rottentomatoes’s 81%.

I have not seen just about every summer blockbuster… i’ll catch up sooner or later.

I really don’t want this to be a journal.  I did the livejournal thing years ago, it just leads to drama.  So I’m keepin it drama-free here on this wordpress.

Yes this blog is pretty superficial, not very deep, and is lacking purpose in life… for the loyal still reading… wow… i’m dissapointed.
