The story of the name behind this site is quite simple.

smashing.  adj.
1.impressive or wonderful: a smashing display. Extraordinarily impressive or fine; wonderful: a smashing success.

Then add the word “records”.  well…

I did try the whole record thing.  Back in 2003, I put out a CD for a friend’s band (now defunct) right before everyone went to digital downloads. they sold, the rest were put into storage forever, or used as coasters.

So now, here is my blog… subscribe if you wish, but i wouldn’t recommend it.
