i found this rant on youtube about the old metal sound guys by ronnie martin of joy electric… if you’re not a music geek or dont know who joy electric is, you probably wont find it funny or amusing but i sure did. its 4 minutes long. i dont expect anybody to listen to the whole thing… but,
as someone who has done sound and recorded for countless bands, i get it.
i get it man.
went for a walk up the hill too see if we could catch a glimpse of the corona fires. turns out they were going strong. wish i had a 200mm to get some better shots… going off on a tangent. took this pic above impromptu style… to the right there is smoke coming from a downtown riverside fire that went off right when we were up there, the press had info on it when we got home. totally random. in the center is the fires and to the left is some kind of energy swirl plasma vortex thing, unexplained phenomena.

Almost 4 years ago i bought this clownfish, my first marine fish. I then gave him to my friend Evan to watch for a while when we moved but i let him keep the setup. Yesterday we tore down his small home he’s been in and then moved him into mine. The flame angel seems to be accepting him. I think they’ll figure out their territories.
Handheld with no flash and high ISO makes for a crappy picture with this dude. I’ll try some more later and with flash to get better detail. I cheated a little and used Noise Ninja.
